If you want to erase or format all the Hardware as well as Software data then with the help of Factory Reset, you will easily format your Hardware as well as Software data.

 2) Hard Reset/Format: 

If you want to erase or format all the Hardware data but not Software data then with the help of hard Reset/Format, you will easily format your Hardware data.

Few of the Smartphones supports both the Factory Reset and Hard Reset/Format option but when we talk about Samsung Phones then the Samsung Phones has only one option I,e Factory Reset. Here in this article, I will tell you the two methods to erase or Reset/Format the Samsung Phones.


 1) First Method to Reset/Format a Samsung Phones 

I had already told you that, every Smartphone has different features, user interface, and Buttons and in the Samsung Phone, there is also the same case.

The Buttons, features, and User-Interface of all the Samsung Phones are also so different.

So friends, if you have any Samsung Phone, you must have a Home Button, Volume button and Power off Button.

First of all, Switch Off your Samsung Phone and after that press Home Button, Volume Up Button and Power Button at the same time and hold it when a Samsung Logo doesn’t come to your Screen.

When the Samsung Logo Come, you will see some of the Options on your Screen and these options are just like

 – Android System Recovery <3e> 

 – Volume up/down to move highlight; 
 – power button to select. 

 – Reboot system now 
 – apply update from ADB 
 – apply update from external storage 
 – wipe data/factory reset 
 – wipe cache partition 
 – apply update from cache 

Friends you have to click on “Wipe data/factory reset”

After the click on “Wipe data/factory reset” you will see an option of Yes or No like

 – Android system recovery <3e> 

 – Confirm wipe of all user data? 
 – This can not be undone 

 – No 
 – No 
 – No 
 – No 
 – No 
 – No 
 – No 
 – Yes — delete all user data 
 – No 
 – No 

You have to click on “Yes — delete all user data” and after the Reset/Format process starts completing and after that your Samsung phone will become just like a new Samsung Phone.

 2) Second Method to Reset/Format a Samsung Phones 

The first method to Reset/Format a Samsung Phones doesn’t support the all types of Samsung Phones but the second method to Reset/Format a Samsung Phones will be for all types of Smartphones.

Every Smartphone has Backup and Reset option on their Setting. So friends, if you want to Reset/Format your Samsung Phone then go to the Setting Option of your phone and just scroll upward and here you will see a Backup and Reset option.

When you will click on Backup and Reset option, you will see so many options like

 – Backup my data 
 – Backup data 
 – Automatic Restore 
 – Factory data Reset 

Note: Friends before Reset/Format the data, please save or Backup your data like images, songs, videos, contacts etc. on your memory card otherwise you will format your important data.

Now click on Factory Data Reset to Reset/Format a Samsung Phones. Here you will be seen like this

 – Reset Device
